Boarding Booking Terms

On receipt of a request for a booking, a 15% non-refundable reservation fee (subject to a minimum of £25) will be required, together with a completed booking form. Both must be received within 5 days of you receiving the booking form. Upon receipt, we will e-mail you to confirm your booking. The balance of payment must be paid no later than 14 days before the booking start date.

 

A current vaccination record must be provided when bringing your cat for boarding. All courses of vaccines, including boosters, must be completed at least 14 days before the booking start date. No cats will be accepted without a valid, current Vaccination record or current Titre Test. Alternatively, you can e-mail a copy of the Vaccination record or Titre Test to us prior to the booking start date

 

All cats must be on a current vet recommended flea/worm treatment and treatment must have started at least 7 days prior to the booking start date.

 

Any known medical condition must be declared at the time of booking

 

We reserve the right not to accept pets with any illness which might endanger the other animals or which has not been notified in advance.

 

Under most circumstances we will be happy to administer medication, including injections, as prescribed by a vet, provided all medications are clearly labelled and accompanied by written instructions

 

Male cats that have not been neutered will not be accepted for boarding unless they are less than 7 months old

 

In the unfortunate event of you having to cancel a booking, there will be no cancellation charges up to 14 days before the booking start date WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE RESERVATION FEE WHICH IS NON-REFUNDABLE. However, no refunds will be given if cancellations are received within the 14 days leading up to and including the booking start date. Please check your travel insurance policy cover as you may have cattery/kennel cover to reclaim the cost of the boarding charges. Should we manage to re-book any of the days cancelled, we will happily refund them to you

 

No refunds are given for unused days should you collect your cat earlier

 

THERE IS A MINIMUM CHARGE EQUIVILENT OF A 4 DAY STAY (7 DAYS AT CHRISTMAS)

 

You must transport your cat(s) in suitable secure pet carriers. Do not carry your cat in your arms as any sudden movement or loud noise could frighten your cat and they may manage to escape. This shall be totally the pet owners’ responsibility

 

In the event of your cat requiring emergency care, we will try to use your own vet, where possible. However, we may consider it necessary to use our own vets, especially if your vet is not local or not available. By signing this booking form, you agree to your vet releasing medical information to our own vet, should this be necessary.

Any veterinary treatment deemed necessary will be at the pet owner’s expense and should be settled directly with them. A charge of £15 per hour will be incurred to cover attendance and travel.

 

In the unlikely event of non-collection of your pet and subsequent failure either to contact or resolve the situation with your nominated emergency contact within 10 days after the due collection date, we reserve the right to find alternative accommodation for your pet on a temporary or permanent basis

 

If, in the unfortunate event, a cat should die whilst staying at the cattery, the owner or owner’s emergency contact will be advised. The cat will be taken to your vets, if possible, for the appropriate safe storage until the owners return, unless instructed otherwise
